This is a photo of birds (Sandhill Cranes) flying as the glowing sun rises at the Merced National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is located in California's northern San Joaquin Valley and is critically important for wintering waterfowl. It attracts large concentrations of ducks, geese, other birds, and Sandhill Cranes.
I love the art of photography and through it I try to capture the beauty of nature and the world around me.
