This photo was taken in Scotty's Castle, or as actually known, Death Valley Ranch. This unique castle like residence is located in Death Valley National Park, California. The photo was taken in Scotty's bedroom, and the framed photo in the middle is of P.T. Barnum, given to Scotty from P. T. Barnum. If you take the very interesting tour of the castle you will find it wasn't Scotty's castle and he didn't sleep in this bedroom. The castle actually belonged to Albert Johnson, and Scotty would slip out the back and sleep several miles away.
