The image was taken at Forrest Gump Point, so called because it was made famous by the movie of the same name. Many people stop and take photos on the road to recreate the scene.
I love the art of photography and through it I try to capture the beauty of nature and the world around me. I have lived on the central coast of California near the town of Avila Beach for most of my life which has given me many photographic opportunities in this beautiful area. I also love the Sierra Nevada mountains and have photographed extensively on both the western and eastern sides.
