This is a photo of a large lenticular cloud hovering over a large rock formation. The rock formation is part of the Alabama Hills in the Eastern Sierra. The Alabama Hills are located near the town of Lone Pine on Highway 395. Lenticular clouds are easily identifiable because they often look like UFO's or spaceships.
