This is a photo of a small lizard-like salamander or newt. The little guy is perched on a plant looking right at the photographer.

I love the art of photography and through it I try to capture the beauty of nature and the world around me. I have lived on the central coast of California near the town of Avila Beach for most of my life which has given me many photographic opportunities in this beautiful area.
